iPhone 13 Battery Health degraded 1% in 2-3 weeks, is this normal?

So I’ve had my iPhone for about 1 year and 3 months. And it is at 87% battery health, and it degraded from 88% to 87% in maybe 2-3 weeks. Is this normal? Do I need to look out for the battery, or should I just not worry about it?

For the most part yes. A lot depends on your usage habits. Apple says the iPhone battery should not drop below 80% within a year and 500 charge cycles. I would watch as Apple recommends to change the battery if it is at 80% or below. The other thing to remember is that battery health dropping is not linear. In other words, it will not drop at a regular rate, so it may show a 1% drop this time and in a couple of weeks stay the same or drop 2%. If things begin to happen to the phone, strange shutdowns or the battery charge does not seem to last a day, may an appointment at the Genius Bar of your nearest Apple Store to have it checked and possibly replaced. Here's something that you probably were not aware of.......

Apple always rounds down any tenths of a percent to a whole number when battery readings are displayed, unless you use a separate 3rd part utility that displays the actual percentages with tenths of a percent.

So, your battery might have been at 88.0% and it declined in a few weeks to 87.9%. Apple would display 87.9% as 87%. So, it appeared to you as if the battery dropped from 88% to 79% over a few weeks, when it really only declined .1%

You don't need to babysit the battery, and it won't help even if you try. You'll only make yourself nervous if you are checking the battery all the time.

All that you really need to do is remember to replace the battery when it drops below 80%. That's probably 7-9 months from now.

Sorry, typo.

Should read......
