The Health app giving ghost steps

Every time that I do a workout using the workout app on my Apple Watch, the Health app give me extra steps that I have never taken because they are given to me while riding my bike, doing calf raises, band resistance exercises, etc etc. I have discussed this problem with Apple Technicians three or four times, and still nobody has been able to sort the problem out. I am sure that many others users surely have the same problem, if not millions. I would like you to reply here so that we can ask Apple for real help.

Yes, this is a know phenomenon, since the watch determines steps taken by the movement of your watch arm.

You should also report this issue directly to Apple by using the Feedback link, maybe they can fine tune the step count feature in an upcoming update or upgrade.

This is the only way to reach them, Apple does not follow these user to user discussions.
