How to stop recurring charges for a canceled subscription on iPhone?

I had a subscription to a "universal TV remote" application, I ended it, but it still takes money from my card. What can I do?

Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.

Check your subscriptions carefully as explained in the support document linked in my previous reply.

Make sure no subscription there is still active.

If nothing is active there that should not be, then something else is going on with that charge.

Note, that if you blocked a charge from your bank's side, that charge does not go way on your Apple Account. It will remain pending, until it can be successfully charged.

When you add a new card to your Apple account, Apple will try to complete any pending charges on your account, so that blocked charge would then try to be completed. This does not mean the subscription is still active, but just that you had a pending charge there that had to be concluded.

If everything is cancelled correctly and expired, then this may just have been a pending charge that was completed now. You can request a refund for it at the other link provided previously.

If it's cancelled it cannot possible still be charing you anymore. How exactly did you cancel it?

Did you follow the steps here ➜ If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

If you did, does it appear as "canceled" or "expired"?

What does the charge appear as on your payment method's statement?

If it appears as "apple.com/bill" it may for something else on your account not necessarily the universal tv remote. See the support document linked below to identify it.

If it appears as "Universal TV remote" then that's a subscription you started directly on their website or platform, not through your Apple account, and as such it needs to be cancelled through there as well.

I don’n remember how i unsubscribed, that was in 2023 , after which they continued to withdraw money from my card, i called the bank and blocked my transaction , i also deleted the “TV remote control” app. Tren my card expired in july 2025, and i made an new card today i registered the card in my phone and i received a message from the bank app that a transaction of 8.49 $ made exactly as in 2023 to apleca.com/bill. Sorry for mistakes i use translate. If some one can help. Thanks
