I've updated to 15.6 and the enclosure doesn't seem to work anymore... this one:

they both work on intel chip with the same update, but not on silicone ones.

Are you being asked to Allow accessories to connect..?
see > If your Mac asks you to allow an accessory to connect - Apple Support
If that does not fix the issue..?
Disconnect both devices from the Mac.
Startup in Safe Mode followed by a normal Restart.
see > Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support
Then reconnect the devices one at a time to the Mac and test.

I think that den.thed is probably spot on by mentioning this:

I suggest you change the setting to "Always Allow", restart and try again.
What I'm talking about is "Allow accessories to connect" - for some reason that is not showing in your screenshot.
In my mac it shows between "FileVault" and "Lockdown Mode".

Sorry, I did see this when I first responded.
If the above suggestions do not fix..?
Test the SSK enclosure by itself to see if it works without the hub.
Then eject/disconnect the SSK and test the hub by itself.
What drive(s) do you have and how are they formatted..?
What I would do is move away from the inexpensive Amazon Choice enclosures and drives.
Only buy Brand-name enclosures and drives from Amazon or buy more reliable OWC products.
uh... do you have "Allow accessories to connect" mentioned here?
FWIW I do not see Accessories on any of my Mac's either.
Maybe try a different USB-C cable with the SSK enclosure.

Anyway, before restarting in Safe mode I stuck it back in the computer and it worked. Twice. Then it worked in safe mode. After normal restart, it still doesn't show.
To answer the other question, I only have one "hard drive", the one that's a hub would have problems at times before, had to turn it off and on, that's why I got the 2nd one that's an enclosure only. As for computers, I have a M1 mac mini that this drive should be hooked up to, but also a M1 laptop. Same problem in both. I also have an older tower in which the enclosure worked before today when I tested, but right now it doesn't.
It doesn't seem to be a matter of cables or connections, it's weird that both enclosures don't work... let's say all the time.

I have the same enclosure with a WD NVME and 15.6 on Mac Mini M4 and no issues. It should work with MacBook.

the enclosures worked just fine before the 15.6 update
it's not showing in three computers... maybe they took it out with the 15.6 update?
That is not used on desktop Macs.
