i recently purchased MacBook Air M4 16 inch and all sudden when I opened I found the crack line on my screen. There is no physical damage no pressure applied on screen.. still it happened.. does this display came under warranty?

From the picture that you provided, I see you are using a hard plastic case and that is most likely the cause.
Remove that case A.S.A.P. before it causes further damage.

While that may be true, using a hard plastic shell case (as you've pictured and pointed out by Smilin-Brian) or anything else (like a keyboard cover) that could interfere with the screen & how it rests on the palm rest/bottom case or causes stress to the display assembly could do more damage than good (if that's indeed what happened in your case).

Yes, against manufacturing defects for one year from original purchase date.
This has been discussed a while back. Many Apple users had this issue but Apple claimed user abuse and not a manufacturing issue so not covered under warranty. I would contact Apple specifically about your issue and see what they say.

Service centre people are saying display is cracked and will not come under warranty… really pathetic.. I used my MacBook very properly still it cracked..
