Left Airpod Pro (2nd gen) has muffled audio

This issue has only just arisen. I’ve had my airpods for about a year now, and while I’m away, my left airpod has just started sounding muffled, but only with the ear tip on. When i take the ear tip off, they sound normal, but the airpods don’t fit my ears without the ear tips. I have tried resetting the airpods and connecting them to a different device but they are still muffled. They also make a squealing noise when pushing them in to readjust in the ear.

These problems have only started today but I fly home in a couple of days and would like to have the issue resolved before then.
