The measure of battery health deterioration/drainage is subjective and can vary depending on individual usage patterns. There is no universal standard to determine whether the battery health deterioration/drainage is normal or abnormal because it heavily relies on how the battery is used and maintained.

Protect & Prolong the Life of your iPhone's Battery:

Try to monitor Battery usage by iPhone Activity as shown below
What is shown under battery usage? Checking that would give you an indication of the usage behavior.
See the pic below (iPhone 12 Pro iOS 17.3.1)
"Show Activity" feature will show you more info see the pic below

Try some of these options too.

Yep, that is completely normal. With the average expected Battery Health drop as reported by Apple to be about 1% for every 50 charge cycles, that would indicate you would be expecting a 2.46% drop. Take into account that your battery was manufactured a year ago and chemical aging also reduces battery health, and a little rounding as the Battery Health is reported as a whole number, there would be nothing unusual about it showing 97%. The Battery Health drop is not exactly linear and some months may not drop at all and other months may drop more.
A general rule of thumb would be that the Battery Health will decline about 1% for every 2 months of operation.
The phone has probably been in use for about 8 months, so it would be normal to expect that the battery has declined about 4%.
Your battery is at 97%, so you are doing better than normal. Keep doing what you are doing.
