Apple Watch no longer will vibrate when I get texts

Ever since I updated both my 14 Pro Max to iOS 18.6 in my 10th generation watch to watch iOS 11.6, my watch no longer vibrates to let me know that I got a text anymore. I have restarted both watch and phone a few times and it’s not correcting it.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone. Check My Watch > Sounds & Haptics …

Haptics = “Prominent”
Text Tone = “Resonate”

Never mind. I found that it was only one contact it was happening with and somehow the hide alerts button got turned on.

Both were already checked and still problem exists.
