That could be a failing battery or you're low in storage on your phone.
Open Settings > battery > Battery Health - what is the percentage shown? If it is 80% or less, the useful life of the battery has been spent and it's time to pay Apple to replace the battery in your phone.
Again, open Settings > General > iPhone Storage - how much space is available out of the total space on your iPhone? If you are very low or out of space, things don't work well and can cause things to slow down on your phone.
