My iPhone 13 is not ringing when connected to computer

The answer turned out to be: Go to the desktop version of Facetime, and in the settings, switch off 'Calls from Iphone'.

I never use Facetime, so how would I ever come up with the idea to open a program i never use to switch off a setting there in order to have my phone ringing on it's own speaker?

Ah, i see now what you mean. No just speakers with a wire from an amp. But the problem needed to be solved in facetime, strangely enough.

it's just the sound, whatever plays on my desktop, that is send towards two speakers. I could play Itunes, I could play a song I am recording, I could play youtube. And my phone rings through my desktop, not just from my phone. You would expect 'Calls on Other Devices' being switched of to ehm, switch that off, but that does not work.

I suppose I contact support, like Smilin-Brian suggested. thanx!

I am a bit disappointed in the generated answer. It tells me to contact my carrier - thats the network provider. That's a bit silly.

I guess i have to find apple Netherlands...
