If you found the phone in a place that has a Lost & Found center, like a shopping mall, you could turn the phone in there. Otherwise, turn the phone in to the police.

If I find a phone, sometimes I check the Medical ID for a relative/friend’s phone number, or a name. Using this number you could tell the person that you have the phone owner’s phone and they could arrange a way to pick it up.
