Adobe Illustrator 2025 freezes and prevents shutdown on MacBook Air

While working on Adobe Illustrator, my program suddenly stopped working. After a few hours, I updated it in the cloud, but all the drawings were still frozen, and I couldn't save any of them.

I tried forcing a stop using Command + Q + Esc.

Nothing happened.

I even tried to force a shutdown, but I still could not since the application was running.

Before, I could still shut down.

Deep press and hold the power button (Touch ID button) until the computer shuts down. This may take about 10 seconds.

Or, as @WheelieNick has suggested, click Apple menu > Force Quit and force quit Illustrator.
