Unable to sign in to PayPal for payment method setup on iPhone

Hello apple community,

i am trying set up my. Payment method on PayPal and I’m getting redirected to

this url

https://www.paypal.com/checkoutweb/genericError?code=UEFZRVJfQ09VTlRSWV9OT1RfQUxMT1dFRA%3D%3D&cancelLink=&merchantName=&closeOnCancel=

which makes it impossible to sign in into PayPal.

Please let someone from apple internals know, that user shouldn’t get redirected to the checkout url of PayPal.

I would like to set up. let me know if there is someone who can provide an answer for that.
