Davinci Resolve Studio performance on M2/3/4 machines

This is a rather specific question targeting specific users. If you use Davinci Resolve Studio 20 on Apple machine, and have a bit of free time, could you please help to run a small test below and share your results? Does not have to match perfectly but like to know what you put in and what you get.

  1. Project - UHD, 24FPS
  2. Source clip - UHD 4:2:0 (or 4:2:2) h.264 (high or HQ), 24 FPS (any camera)
  3. Apply effect - Superscale 2x enhanced (default settings), nothing else (no grading, LUT, VFX, etc.)
  4. Export clip - UHD h.265 quality limited to 12,000kbps bitrate (or automatic), 24 fps

I'll start - Mac mini M4 (10, 10, 16Gb): 0.5 - 1.0 FPS.

My source clip was stage performance recorded on Nikon Z7, only applied Superscale 2x enhanced and nothing else.

This is to find out if worth upgrading to a different Mac or go back to PC and install a high performance GPU. Apologies in advance that I am not looking for advice to fine tune workflow, thanks.
