Unable to access recently deleted folder to recover voice memo on my Mac

When I accidentally deleted a voice memo just now, it said ti would be in my recently deleted folder for 30 days. However, I cannot access my recently deleted folder on my mac. I know theres meant to be an icon on the top bar that allows you to view all of your folders but mine does not have this. I am going to update my mac tonight but any help would be greatly appreciated. It was a very important voice recording.

w/r/t the Voice Memos app, when you delete a voice memo in the app it is moved to the app's Recently Deleted folder. It is not a folder that is visible in the Finder.

Open Voice Memos and click the sidebar button to open the app's folder sidebar. You should find the Recently Deleted folder there. See the Voice Memos Guide for more info.
