How to request a refund for PicsArt subscription and auto renewal?
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone here might have experienced something similar and can share advice.
I had a free 7-day trial for PicsArt and used the app just once. I didn’t intend to subscribe for a full year. On August 2nd, my subscription auto-renewed without any notification or reminder from PicsArt or Apple Mail, even though the app says it should send one. I only found out when I saw a charge of about RM200 on August 4th in my bank account.
I canceled the subscription immediately the same day and requested a refund, but Apple declined, saying I’m not eligible. I haven’t used any premium features since the trial ended, and I feel this renewal was unintentional.
Also, I’m frustrated there’s no live chat or phone support to explain my case directly, which has made this whole situation very stressful.
Has anyone else dealt with a similar problem? How did you manage to get a refund or resolve this?
