Choose how you want to transfer your data.

• If you download from iCloud, your apps and data will be downloaded in the background so that you can start using your new device straight away.

Apps won't move, they have to be downloaded again from the App Store. Make sure the device is connected to a stable wi-fi and power and depending on how many apps you had on the device, it could take a little while.
