Request for Assistance in Recovering Old Apple Mail Account

Hi,

I am trying to recover my old Apple account, which I created around 8–10 years ago.

I still remember the correct Apple ID and password, but when I sign in, I receive the following message:

"This Apple Account has been locked for security reasons. You must unlock your account before signing in."

To unlock it, I am given two options:

1. Answer Security Questions – Unfortunately, I no longer remember these answers, as the account was set up nearly a decade ago.
2. Use Recovery Email – The recovery email on file is the same account I am trying to regain access to, which creates a loop and prevents recovery.

The issue is that, despite knowing the correct password, I cannot access the account. In similar cases, many systems allow users to reset their password after verifying the old one, but that option does not seem to be available here.

I have already contacted Apple Support (Case ID: 102664******), but the issue remains unresolved. Support advised me to reach out to this community, as I might be able to find a solution here.

I believe this is a genuine and reasonable use case, and I hope the technical team can suggest an alternative way to break this recovery loop and restore access to my account.
