"cellular plan no longer available" with 2 sims?

I'm a Canadian abroad in Australia. I have an Australian data and cellphone plan (presumably) for when I'm here, and I have also kept on access to my Canadian number. I've been here for 2 weeks and have had no issues using the Aus number and receiving texts on my Canadian number (I don't use it, it's just in case of emergency).

I accidentally turned on airplane mode today for a few seconds and now this following message is popping up:

I have no idea what it means or what to do! I also have no idea what plan it's referring to - my Canadian (primary) or Australian (secondary)?

I ended up clicking "Use "Secondary"" because my Australian number is what I need access to for the time being but is this an issue?

any help would be greatly appreciated :)

It might appear that you have some contacts which are registered to use some of those “other” SIMs which presumably are no longer installed.

(the phone “likes” to assign a primary line to each contact)

Why Airplane mode just started the “nag” screens is unclear, but it’s not a major concern.

Just assign those numbers to a SIM which IS installed and you should be fine.

hmmm, weird! Thank you for your help.

I think maybe the glitch happened when someone texted me on my Australian number. a girl called "Rachel" and I already had a contact named Rachel from my Canadian number - it attempted to merge the contacts but I created a new contact. I'm not sure if this counts as assigning numbers to a SIM???

Do you think this will be an issue if I give only my Australian number to people? I should still be able to get messages, right?
