Two-factor authentication error when setting up Apple Watch

Im trying to add an se watch that was given to me but I keep getting an error-

Setting up Apple Watch

Cannot be Set Up

This feature requires two-factor authentication. The Apple Account

"rbxxxxxx@me.com" does not support two-factor authentication.

My account does have that setup so whats going on?

Unable to Sign In to Apple ID on Apple Watch Series 4 – "Verification failed" Error After Recent Update Hi everyone, I'm facing an issue signing in to my Apple ID on my Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS, 44mm) after a recent watchOS update. The problem: After entering my Apple ID username and password on the Watch, I receive the following error: "Verification failed. An unknown error occurred." This has been consistently happening and prevents me from signing into my Apple ID on the Watch. What I've already tried: Resetting the Apple Watch and setting it up as new Resetting the password for my Apple ID Ensuring 2FA is enabled on my Apple account Following all steps suggested by Apple Support I reached out to Apple Support and was eventually told that two-factor authentication is no longer supported on the Apple Watch for my Apple ID. This seems odd, as it worked perfectly until a few months ago. Questions: Has anyone else seen this error on Apple Watch Series 4 (or other models)? Could this be a bug introduced in a recent watchOS version? Any help or confirmation from others experiencing this would be appreciated. I hope Apple can look into this and issue a fix soon. Thanks!
