The camera does not initiate when I use it through third party apps in iOS 18.5 and now 18.6 after updating on iPhone 15 Pro Max. Third party apps just display a black screen when I try to use the camera through them. The only exception I’ve found is Snapchat.
if I restart my phone, the issue is temporarily fixed, but then starts again within a day or so. I’ve so far found no more permanent solution.

If this was an iOS update issue, it would happen to every iPhone out there. Yet it's not as this forum would be flooded with people claiming the same and it's not.
That doesn't mean you don't have an issue, but to suggest it's caused by the last two updates, is likely just coincidence.
