How to pair mismatched Airpods Pro 2nd Gen?

I recently had to replace the case of my Airpods Pro 2nd Gen, and prior to that I had to replace one of the earbuds alone, so everything in the case and the case itself is mismatched. I was trying to pair it to my iPhone 16 Pro Max after charging but the pairing light won’t come on. It only flashes orange and the proximity screen won’t show either. Am I cooked? 😭
