Maybe best to not think about this for a few hours, so hopefully you can remember the passcode for the iPhone 7.
If you can't, then unfortunately you will have to erase / reset the phone and then set it up again. If you have a current backup of the phone, you can use that to restore the data back to the phone during the new setup.

we'll have you tried to factory reset or try to bypass the code
Tell us how that a user could "bypass" the passcode. iPhone thieves would especially be interested in this information.
