I forgot my Apple Account and password

Here is what to do:

• If you forgot your Apple Account primary email address or phone number - Apple Support

ONLY the owner of the partially displayed Apple Account can release the lock.

Without that owner’s cooperation, the phone will remain a “paperweight.”

That’s Activation Lock.

Activation Lock is intended to be a theft deterrent, and is intentionally difficult to bypass.

That device is indistinguishable from one that was lost or stolen, if not actually lost or stolen.

The Apple Account used an S as its initial character, and was at Gmail.

You’ll need the Apple Account and password, or the holder of the Apple Account will need to remotely release it, or the original purchase receipt from Apple or an authorized reseller.

We can’t help with this, and — absent sufficiently-convincing proof of ownership — Apple won’t help.

If you have just acquired that iPhone, contact the seller for the unlock, or for a refund.

If the seller has disappeared, you bought a brick.
