How do I share Mobile data from iPhone to iPad via USB-C cable?

I want to share my mobile data of my iPhone 15 to my iPad Air M2 using the provided apple usb c cable. It gets detected that i have used an ‘iPhone USB’ interface in Ethernet section of the ipad settings but i am unable to get internet on and surf things. Even tried turning the wifi off and tried changing the manual configurations of ethernet but it doesnt work.
