There’s nothing to try. If you have damaged the battery by letting it drop to zero frequently the only solution is to have the battery replaced.

What do you see in Settings/Battery/Battery Health?

Have you tried a different charger? The one you are using may have failed.

Are you using an Apple cable?

What is your power source? If it is 20 watts wired, or 35 watts with a MagSafe wireless charger it should reach 50% in 30 minutes and 80% in about 45 minutes. After 80% it will pause to allow the battery to cool, and, depending on the ambient temperature, it may take another hour or two to avoid overcharging.

Amber Color when Charging:

Use an Apple Charger:

So, it's something with the charger. Are you using a third-party charging brick? If so, use an Apple brand.

What do you see in Settings>Battery?

What is the Battery Health?

What settings have you made under "Charging?

In the battery level graph, amber color is a slow charger, green is fast.

If you routinely let it go to zero you may have damaged the battery. You should charge at least when it reaches 10% and ideally 20%.
