How do I factory reset iPhone XR without Apple ID password?

my sister has forgotten her Apple ID password and since this morning her password wasn’t working then the timer stopped counting down. It is now on recovery mode I think but is asking us for her Apple ID password which we don’t know😫 her phone is also an iPhone XR 256 GB

Factry Reset and Forgotten Apple ID Password:

Try resetting the Apple ID Password. Your sister would need to user another device to perform this change. So, see if that does that do the job. Go Here: If you Forgot your Apple Account Password - Apple Support
