Keeping a clock/timer always on top during presentations on my MacBook Air

It's is so surprising that there is no easy way to keep a clock/timer widget or window open "on top" of everything I do on my mac. I want the timer to stay on top of the screen during full screen slide shows and to remain when I move out of the slideshow to different media during presentations that I make. Is there an app or a workaround to keep a certain app or window in top of the screen no matter what I do in the background? It would be a great productivity tool and help to organize time during presentations etc.

I would search the App Store...? Report back your success or failure.
