Repaired MacBook Air screen gone black after one week

Hello,

My MacBook got water damaged and they replaced the screen and the keyboard parts. It worked for a week after fixing and now the screen is black and turning off. Any ideas my next steps. Spent £310 on it. Is any further repairs worth it?

They is just a random computer repair shop. I think your right there is more damaged. That’s why I’m wondering if I should spend more on it or just buy a new one. Thanks

Bummer... at this point, I'd cut my losses and just recycle it.

You could take it to Apple, but if there's liquid damage to the logic board it's going to cost more than a new one would.

Besides, the new ones are blazing fast compared to the one you have.
