Screen Time limit not enforced for TikTok on child's iPhone

I have a screen time limit set up for an app on my daughter’s phone but she is still able to continue using the app after her usage exceeds the limit. Any ideas why this is allowed?

Specifically, a 5 minute time limit is set up for Tik Tok on my child’s phone but her activity shows over an hour of usage and I did not get a request for more time from her.

On an iPhone, when a Screen Time limit is set correctly, the restriction will apply to the chosen app. However, if the app has been placed under the Always Allowed section in Screen Time, then the limit will not take effect for that app. For the restriction to work as intended, the app should not be in the Always Allow list. If everything is configured properly and the app is outside that section, Screen Time must trigger the set limit and block usage once the allocated time is reached.
