iPhone 14 – Dual SIM (Physical + eSIM) Data Connectivity Issue after iOS 18.6.1 / 18.6.2 Update

After updating my iPhone 14 to iOS 18.6.1 and 18.6.2, I have been facing persistent mobile data connectivity issues in a dual SIM setup (one physical SIM + one eSIM).

Problem:

  • The SIM set as the mobile data provider (whether physical SIM or eSIM) frequently loses connection.
  • When this happens, either the signal bars disappear completely, or bars are visible but mobile data does not work.
  • The connection temporarily comes back after toggling Airplane Mode or restarting, but the issue returns after a while.

Observations:

  • If one SIM is turned off in settings, the other SIM works normally with stable mobile data.
  • The issue only occurs when both SIMs are active.

Troubleshooting I tried:

  • Reset Network Settings (multiple times)
  • Force restarted the phone (multiple times)

Unfortunately, the problem still persists.

Can anyone confirm if this is a known bug with iOS 18.6.x on dual SIM setups? Is there a workaround or do we need to wait for an upcoming iOS update?
