After updating my iPhone 13 Pro to 18 I lost the phone app in car play. I cannot make calls from my car anymore. I reset CarPlay on my phone and my car and even tried to add the app but it’s not there. Please help

I had already tried that a few times. I was able to work with someone from Apple and resolve it.
The reason "Phone" was not showing in Apple Car Play was because it was defaulted to "Require Face ID" which will cause it to not show in Car Play. If you hold on the app on your phone you get menu options for the app, you can turn that setting off.

Hi! If the phone app is missing in CarPlay, you can press the square or the 9 dots at the bottom left,
square: press one time
9 dots: press it 2 times.
you will get a full apps in CarPlay, and you can choose which call you wanna use, and if you wanna pin it, hold the app and put it at the two app pined. If that doesn’t work, you might wanna contact Apple support
Well you need to force restart your phone by quickly click the volume up then the volume down buttons and then hold the power button until you see the Apple logo
Maybe you are using a different default calling app. This prevents it to apear. It happened to me and I had anothebrspp that is put default bit now my app won’t show but will show if I put the Apple phone app to the default.
I have already loaded all of the apps and reset 2 times.
I cannot make a call even with Siri because it says the app is missing.
The Phone app is not in the list.
