Sequoia 15.6.1 problems with devices connected to the monitor

First of all, I apologize for the strange nickname.

Since updating macOS to 15.6.1, the camera and Logi Bolt connected to the monitor are not recognized.

Probably not a device issue, I was using it before the update.

I look forward to hearing from anyone who is experiencing the same problem or knows how to solve it.

You need to tell us about your setup.

Again what external display(s)..?

(make, model and how it is connected to the MacBook Pro)

The Logi Bolt receiver and camera can also be connected directly to the MacBook Pro using a USB-C to USB-A adapter or hub.

Try this:

Disconnecting the USB devices from the display.

Disconnect the external display from the MacBook Pro.

Cycle the power to the external display(s) if they have an external power supply.

Reconnect the display(s) to the MacBook Pro and reconnect the USB devices to the displays hub.

If that does not help..?

Then please provide more complete information about the make and model of the display(s) and how they are connected to the MacBook Pro.

Update on the above issue.

Went to Apple Support in the store and they confirmed that the issue seems to be with MacOS 15.6.1 after doing some testing in the store.

They recommended upgrading to Tahoe.

So I upgraded to Tahoe. And Same problem Exists!!

Also note that the problem does not seems to happen on Macs with Apple silicon Mx

@Apple Support, This is a huge problem, Please provide a hot fix

Hello

After upgrade from 15.6 to 15.6.1 my wired USB-A Keyboard, Mouse and Printer have stopped working.

The setup is :

MAC Book Pro 16 inch 2019 15.6.1

USB hub has 1xHDMI, 2XUSB-A, 1xUSB-C(power) , 1xEthernet - brand cable matters

What works:

On the same hub - a USB-A memory stick works.

USB-C memory stick connected directly to the Mac works

Bluetooth printer works

Bluetooth mouse works

Display via HDMI works

iPhone 11 connected via USB-C to lightning works.

I have tried using two other USB hubs - does not work

I have also tried another MAC Book Pro 16-inch with 15.6 and this Works.

Just the USB-A Keyboard mouse and printer with does not work with MAC Book Pro 16 inch 2019 15.6.1

I have reinstalled 15.6.1 and it still does not work.

I have tied SMC reset and NVRAM reset and it still does not work

This is a hug problem is support for USB-A input devices is broken.

Please help fix this.

I'm not sure how to show you my settings.

I'm using the MacBook M4 Pro 16.

In addition, it is being used in clamshell mode (C to C) for external monitors.

Both Logi Bolt and external camera are USB type, all connected to the monitor.

I tried turning off and on the computer, but it still doesn't work.

Please let me know if you need more information to resolve it.

I'm having problems with an ilok connected a Mac Studio M1 Max 32gb running Sequoia 15.6.1.

I've tried everything I can, including renewing licenses and checking for all software updates.

I cannot run Melodyne Studio in Logic Pro's latest iteration, nor see any of my orchestral instruments in any of my projects.

All plugins are working correctly. I have also used First Aid on all my Drives with no success.

(I have another computer which I will also check. I updated that yesterday and so far all seems to be ok. That's a MacBook Air M4 124gb)
