My iPhone 16 Plus is not broadcasting its hotspot

I just bought this phone and all my devices are up to date. I have tried the shut off and restart multiple times. Not a fix; it’s a band aid at best and is unreliable. I have an eSim in the phone and I called my carrier (Straight Talk) and they say it’s not them. I have no restrictions on the hotspot and I have data. I don’t know if I should call Apple or go to the nearest Apple store and see if they can help me. My hotspot broadcast well with my XR. I think it’s the phone or the eSim or something that involves both. This is an ongoing issue since at least 2022 but I can’t use the suggested remedies. Is there anything else? Thanks very much.

Often when your service provider is a low cost MVNO, like Straight Talk, you don't get the technical support you'd get with a major carrier. They just did what it took to get you off the phone. Hotspot IS a carrier provided service. It yours isn't working, that's on Straight Talk to resolve. Apple has nothing to do with that service. Contact your carrier and ask to have your call escalated to a higher level technical support person and don't let them give you the runaround.
