iPhone 11 Pro Camera Black Screen After iOS 18.2/18.2.1 Update

Hi! I’m having a recurring camera issue on my iPhone 11 Pro after updating to iOS 18.2 (and 18.2.1). The Camera app often opens to a black screen or takes several seconds to respond, but third-party apps like ProCam work normally. I tried force-closing Camera, restarting my iPhone, turning off all Settings → Camera → Preserve Settings toggles, and even did a full Reset All Settings, but the issue keeps coming back. Can you confirm if this is a known bug for iPhone 11 Pro and if there’s a fix planned in an upcoming iOS release?

the most recent version of iOS is 18.6.2. Have you tried to update to that version or is this the version you're on?

Have you tried a forced restart to see If the issues persist?

  1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  3. Press and hold the side button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
