I have gotten warning on my iPhone of viruses when opening things on FB. I don’t click links, jailbreak or download apps from third parties. Is it possible to get a virus and is there an Apple approved antivirus program?

The "warning" that you got was a scam that was trying to trick you into buying useless software to solve a problem that does not exist.
By the way........Facebook was paid by the scam app to display what you saw on your screen. Better sites will not accept junk to display on their sites.

More like a scam aimed at (a) getting you to call criminals posing as “tech support” or (b) getting you to purchase a useless “security” app rhat will do nothing to fix a non-existent “problem”
Hello~ Just reiterating what other fellow members have said…it’s a scam. Scammers doing what scammers do…don’t fall for it. Delete and move along with your day. Sadly, I treat everything as a scam until I can prove differently.

Facebook is scam central. You just have to not fall for any of the scams you see and that includes those that claim you have a virus and want you to spend money to fix a problem you do not have.
