iPhone 12, storage almost full even after deletions

Over the last week I have removed and deleted over 5gb of data, apps, docs etc but storage keeps creeping upwards, I have ensured deleted albums are emptied, turned off and on to no avail. How can this be happening. If I got warnings at 63.5gb and removed over 5gb then the maths don't add up? Please help, I can't afford a new phone.

I would go to settings and go to where your an able to select “backup iPhone” and “cloud sync” It should show you how much storage you have and how much is being used and how much is available, it should show what’s in their still and maybe you can deduce it better from their on freeing up the needed space. I’m not a wiz with iPhones but that information I know and I hope that it will help you, atleast it’ll help or should help you atleast identify what’s still remaining.

Also, if you have downloaded Random apps or third-party apps that could be also playing a role possibly, make sure that you clear the cache from the deleted apps to. Check for possible hidden apps maybe. I hate to say it, but if worse comes to worse, you might have to do a reset if nothing works. I wouldn’t recommend it but if your options are limited due to the aforementioned. I would make sure I’d do all I can first to fix it. That’s a last resort.
