I purchased a 2025 Armada (SL with Propilot 2.1 package) on July 27, 2025. I have the same issue and it's nearly every start-up. When I initiate a "text" message through Siri, or reply to one, Siri gets stuck in a loop. She will respond by saying "What do you Want to Sa to Jo---" (cutting off the contact name), then goes silent to listen but hears nothing. After a period of time she will come back as say "it says" and then goes silent again and will continue this loop until I tap cancel or it runs ts course of about 15 loops. If it runs its course CarPlay will sit there with the Apple Intelligence "glow" around the screen but nothing else.
I have tried using the "require Siri for interruptions" setting in accessibility. I've tried muting the volume before using Siri. I've tried completely turning off WiFi AND Bluetooth (from the respective setting menus) and using wired CarPlay. Nothing works ... except one thing.
If I reset the headunit (hold the Power/Mute Button in the Volume knob until the unit powers down and back on) then Siri will work correctly for a period of time but eventually it will go back to getting stuck in the loop until I reset the head unit again.
I'm running an iPhone 16 Pro on iOS 18.6.2 (and previous versions). I've tried with my Daughter's iPhone 15 Pro Max and it does the same thing.
I have noticed in my other vehicles when Siri is active for messaging the background sound is muted or severely turned down yet in the Armada it doesn't do this. However, as I mentioned before, even having the radio/Carplay music completely off doesn't stop Siri from looping.
