Your iPhone will only update its location if it comes back online — that’s why you saw one update and then nothing. The message date (25/09/2025) just means Lost Mode will stay active until then. Keep Lost Mode on, give the IMEI/serial to police and your carrier, and if the phone is turned on again you’ll get another location update in Find My.

According to you, the phone was removed from your Apple Account. (“message appear that will be removing after 25/09/2025 (what this means).”).

Maybe you didn’t do this in response to a scam message, but if you did it at all, you cleared Activation Lock. The thieves who would like to “make your phone their own” would be happy about that.

Thieves have ways of keeping stolen iPhones from connecting to the Internet and reporting their locations. But even if you see a location in the coming days, the chances of you getting your phone back are extremely slim, and none.

this 30 day message means

1.Stolen Device Protection was turned on

and

2.You or the finder requested successfully that it be removed from your account. Did you remove it from the account as well as marking it lost? If so then it is lost forever.

My understanding is that if you remotely removed the phone from your Apple Account,

  • It will remain visible in Find My for up to 30 days from the time you remove it
  • Removing the phone will immediately clear Activation Lock. Any thief, fence, or dishonest finder will be able to reset your phone and "make your phone their own". (Once they reset it and associate with their Apple ID, I am guessing that It won't appear in Find My any more.)

If you have fallen for a "phishing" scam where you have either

  • Provided the scammers with your Apple ID and Apple ID password, or
  • Removed the phone from the list of your devices on their instructions

then you can say bye-bye to that phone.
