Unable to edit Safari address bar or copy links on MacBook Pro M1 since 8/17

I've installed 3 emergency updates since then, but the Safari on my MBP M1 is going to force me to find a new default browser. But Safari is still broken.

Anyone else with this problem?

Original Title: For the past 10 days (since about 8/17), I've been unable to edit the address bar in Safari. Now I can't copy links to paste elsewhere. Anyone else?

Nope, works fine here.

What happens when you try to edit the address bar exactly?

You can click once on the address and it should select it and you can then press command+c to copy the link.

What macOS version are you running?

Have you shutdown Safari and re-opened it?

Have you restarted the Mac?

Provide some details, and someone may be able to advise.
