How do I send a document BUT not it's link?

The company I am sending some docs to will not accept a link that they have to click on. In the past I had the choice of sending the icon/link for the receiver to click and open, or the document to be read with just opening the email.

I attached my own pdf's and a Word doc - I presume these are attachments, not a link. But the company could not open them on clicking. So I exported the pdf filse to jpeg's and I could see them embedded in the email and have now sent them.

But I have a leaflet that a company sent me as a Word doc which I also want to send off via email, but its 5 pages long - do I have to export each page separately to then embed them into an email?

Did you follow these instructions:
