Create new iCloud email with my Apple ID

I have an Apple ID with two emails ... xxx@me.com and xxx@icloud.com The @me was the original and the xxx@iCloud was automatically created at some point over the last few years by Apple (I think).

HELP WITH:

I now need a new email address for my aging Mom that I manage. NOT AN ALIAS. On my Apple ID page, I've logged in, clicked "privacy" then "email" and then the "+" button. I found a name that is not used. I clicked "go" and received a message to look for an email to the newly created email address with a CODE.

No code has been received.

But how do I get the code without having the email set up?

I'm going in circles. Any direction is appreciated!

There is no Email option under Privacy, unless you mean the "Hide My Email" option which is not used for what you want to do. It creates a new email address for use on a website or app so you don't provide your actual email address it. Any emails send to that "fake" address are forwarded to your own email account.

You cannot create an email address on your Apple account for somebody else, it simply does not work that way.

If you need an email account for your mother, you can create one from a number of 3rd party services like outlook.com, yahoo.com, gmail etc...

Apple's iCloud emails are only created when creating a new Apple Account.
