Cannot open TIF files on new Mac

Cannot open TIF files on new Mac. I have a MacBook Pro 2023. I have the Sequoia 15.5 on it and I am not able to open Tif files. In my older previous MacBook I could. Why would the older model work and this one not? How can I get preview to open it like I used to be able to do?

Update to current macOS, and check again.

Which app are you trying to use to open the TIF file? (Use Finder Get Info to show that.)

Some TIF files such as those generated by a specific device or app, or all TIF files from everywhere? (Samples)
