Notifications sounds are super loud on my iPhone 16 Pro Max after iOS 18.6.2 update

"Super loud notifications on iOS 18.6.2: iOS 18.6.2 on iPhone 16 Pro Max. Since updating, the notifications sounds are super loud even though my volume slider is almost at silent. I have reset the sound settings but this issue still pops ups. I keep having to reset sound settings repeatedly but this issue never goes away. My phone ringer comes in at normal sound levels but notifications do not. Not sure what the issue is here or how to resolve permanently."

Super Loud Notifications:

Either use no sound for notifications or mute your iPhone. Also, provide Apple feedback on this.

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
4. Proceed from there as necessary
