Why do you think you have an iPhone backup in time machine? You only would if you had backed up your iPhone to your computer. And unless you deleted that backup from your computer it is still there. To see if it is on your Mac:

  • Open Finder
  • Click on your account name
  • Click on Library
  • Click on Application Support
  • Click on MobileSync

If you don’t see Mobile Sync you don’t have any backups on your computer. If you do, you can just restore from a backup.

If you do have MobileSync click on it then click then launch Time Machine, wait for it to load, then see if there are any backups in the history for Backups.

If you don’t have MobileSync you never had an iPhone backup on your Mac to save to Time Machine.

As another source, if you backed up to iCloud you can restore that backup.
