Since this latest update, I can no longer copy what's in the address bar. Do you think this was just an oversight on Apple's part or do they not want us copying the address bar?

Double quick tap on a already-visible address bar with iPadOS 18.6.2 gets this:

in safari? what happens if you click on the url in the address bar so it's all marked and then click again?
for me that provides me with cut, copy and autofill
We’d be seeing reports, if this were a widespread problem.
And I too am having no problems copying to or from the address bar.
That copying gets used heavily around here in the forums, too.
As suggested above, restart Safari, or restart the iPhone, and check again.
Reboot your iPad and try again. I have no such problem.
