I’ve had this problem for a while now. But my 12 will not find my Bluetooth speaker. I’ve turned both devices off and on again while having them in pairing mode side by side. I’ve reset my phone network settings as well. And it’s not a compatibility issue because my 14 connects with no issue. It’s only my 12 that will not find my speaker and I don’t have this issue with other devices on this phone just my speaker.

Is the iPhone 14 powered on and nearby when you're trying to pair the speaker with your iPhone 12? If yes, turn the iPhone 14 off or at least disconnect Bluetooth on it. Next, does the speaker permit multiple pairings? Many Bluetooth devices have a limit to the number of devices they can be paired with and for that, you'd need to seek help from the speaker manufacturer.
