System data takes 70 GB of storage after the update!

My iPhone 15 Pro Max got an update this night, but something strange is happening. My phone gets very hot while in use, my battery dies within 1-2 hours of active usage, and the system data consumes up to 70 GB of storage. What should I do? Restarting my phone didn't help.

I would think you've got some corrupt data on your phone. I would use my computer, to backup my phone, then restore the phone from the backup using my computer. It will put a new copy of iOS on your phone and your system data should restore to normal levels.
