My WhatsApp microphone is not allowed and there is no mic option

Where are you checking for the mic option? Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Microphone > See if the app is there. Try deleting then re-installing the app. The settings should refresh and you should be prompted with the option of enabling the mic on first entry.
