iPad restore/update disk full?

Hello, I tried to restore/update my iPad through my PC using iTunes however it tells me that disk i am attempting to use is full? I cannot turn my iPad on to sort storage, so where do I go from here?

If your iPad shows “restore/update disk full”, it means your computer doesn’t have enough storage to complete the process. Free up space on your PC/Mac or use another device with sufficient storage to restore or update the iPad.

Cleared up some space and it worked! Thank you, I just assumed it was the iPad memory and not the other way around 😅

Can you access the storage from the PC? Do you really need the files? If you dont need the files restore first and than update...What happend to your iPad? What iPad is it? I need you to answear my questions first and than il be possible to help.
